Not really, although both the stories have campus setting. But characters and plot is very different from each other.
I'm not giving any spoilers, but SE had lots of potential and I felt like it abruptly ended.
Actually that IS an abrupt end ...there is a whole season(a webtoon season) worth of content that was not adopted into the webtoon ....and that made me so angry that till this date I haven't gotten over it ....

There are also volume of side stories in the novel and I didn't even consider here (I don't know much ab the side stories volume wasn't able to find it online)
It's giving me a Semantic Error vibe. Although I didn't finish that manhwa Idk why, I just remembered I dropped it right after season 2 began. Prolly gonna re-read it now (≧∇≦)/
