i disagree. the FL only managed to intervene because the ML intentionally placed her with his younger sister out of concern for her. not that he went above and beyond for his younger sister, but i would say it’s inaccurate to say he didn’t care.
Well my point still stands that no one could really help the girl except for the FL. Obviously if the ML had to get the FL to help her then he probably couldn’t do it himself. And what made me think that he didn’t care about her all that much is because even after the princess started to gain some authority due to the empress favoring her, he still barely thinks about her, only interacting with the FL. Im sure he does care to some degree.
I love the morally grey FL. The little princess cant be coddled when before the FL became her maid she was being tormented by her step sister and mother, and the other two familt members she had didn’t give 2 shits about her.. The FL is teaching her how to become a princess that’ll prevail and know how to get what she wants even through manipulation, whlist also being the only one there for her wholeheartedly. the ML only started caring after FL interviened, and the empress only cared after she started to remind her of her deceased daughter(?)
