Hmmm I do understand why they didn’t tarnish the white haired girls image in her death but it’s definitely disappointing they didn’t clear ash’s name and reveal the real prophecy, considering the real one says nothing abt there being an evil star vs a good shining one sumn. Then there’d be no reason to pit the two against each other in the peoples minds. At the end of the day the evil sister didn’t know she was a homunculus or that she was a fake she was just a spoiled brat and even a victim herself tbh, so I don’t think them deciding to not spit on her grave was a bad idea, I think that would have made them truly horrible ppl, to treat someone as family and then toss them out the second u find out they’re not would be beyond messed up, but they didn’t do that just overall shitty they didn’t clear everything up for ash in the end.
yea, they could’ve just say that the prophecy was real but it was ashtarte that was the light not white girl. white girl was just born but was not given a prophecy at birth like ashtarte. they could’ve just made it seems that the high priest wanted to control the empire with this fake prophecy.
