If he promises one girl all sorts of ridiculous things and a new one comes and it's like everything they said didn't matter, then yeah, they're a playboy. Their words are casually spoken without any sense of responsibility and he can just pretend they don't exist after someone new comes.
So yes, imo he's basically a playboy.

What I was trying to say, which I guess you didnht get, was that he shouldn't have promised things to Obsidian and then gone back on his word when someone else comes. I'm not saying he can't like someone else, but things like saying he'd be willing to wait and then someone else comes and poof everything is gone is just idk cruel. Like, his words have no weight and that's why I called him a playboy, because, yes words have connotations and I was describing his attitude being similar to that of a playboy.
It's not that he owes the women anything, it's that he's uncaring about with what he says that I was disappointed in. I don't owe anyone anything, but I wouldn't be misleading only to like someone else. I'd explain it and be clear that our relationship is ambiguous for now.
