Hmm Taeju is constantly forgetful of the fact that Euihyun is inexperienced throughout the story and that he literally taught him everything he knows sexually speaking and so when Euihyun got hurt and confused by the dirty talk mixed with his recent increase in anxiety and could not express himself and panicked in fear that he would be thrown away without any means to survive and felt like he had to go elsewhere to reaffirm that Taeju didn’t actually mean that which in turn could have also culled the anxiety of Taeju stopping taking care of him and his brother more importantly because he got bored of him

But even when he said Euihyun was loose and sloppy while they were doing it when he saw Euihyun’s reaction he immediately took what he thought to be proper action to reassure him and make him comfortable ( just like with the belly bulge and the spanking ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ ) At that point in the story he outside of neglect and “confinement” in his own twisted way was treating him as his lover/pet and well. He didn’t know how unstable he was and he really can’t grasp an understanding of the despair and anxiety Euihyun feels at least not at that point because now I feel like he can understand a little better because he’s literally traumatized but I digress lol

Even though Euihyun was bugging out he wasn’t oblivious to the neighbors feelings. He knowingly exploited his earnest genuine and pure feelings for the sake of his own mental and emotional stability.(via just smoking cigarettes and chilling not the fingering)Not in a manipulative way but just as a means to escape from his terrible situation.He said it on multiple occasions himself he could tell the neighbor liked him. If Taeju didn’t find out and that didn’t blow up the neighbors expectations and hope would’ve exponentially increased and rightfully so but the reality was Euihyun was already in love and had no desire to sexually or romantically be with the neighbor to the point where when he brought him in their he did not consider the fact that he was an alpha with an active interest in him or even his feelings for that matter ( it was kinda a fked up really this the apology) it was you are an alpha right for research purposes let me put your finger in my butt. that’s how little he considered his feelings that scene was like so cringe I felt so bad for the neighbor and Taeju and Euihyun （/TДT)/

I like him though and want to see him in some sides he was Euihyuns solace and get away for a bit when Taeju was being bad so he deserves some side story but I’m glad the rival and “what are we” arch’s are over
