Y'all it's not weird, considering how their relationship evolved and improved. And he's a GUARDIAN, he said that on the first chapter, he may be a father figure but he cared for her truly, and didn't do anything against her will, he didn't violate her or whatsoever. Y'all should stop your egoistic perception and try to think and see the plot on a wider scope.

Is it really grooming when she is much older than she appears? There was NO grooming involved. He took care of her and she felt safe for once. Falling in love happens, especially when he didn't adopt her to be a father. Guardianship can end at any time, being a father cannot. Well, unless a father decided to ghost his child but I digress.
    Julius didn't groom Mint.

In my opinion, if you think about it in real life, it is grooming. No excuses needed.

" He fell for mint when she was already mature " broo... That's grooming. If you thought that their love was not wrong then you're probably manipulated and you could've been a victim to the real grooming (If the groomer was hot and handsome ofc).

Even though it's fantasy or just a story but let's not normalize this shit just because the guy is hot and handsome and probably will have the same face even though they're already in their 40's, but if it wasn't then that will only be the time when people would actually be mad at the author. Yes, Jul is gentle, kind, typical ML stuff

I never have been groomed before. My mental maturity ripened much faster to where i was able to see the signs and not fall for it. That also means I'm able to deduct it from other perspectives and catch on.

Was Mint a child? No, just the embodiment of a child. He didn't groom her, his wordings weren't groomish, falling in love can literally happen at any age. Go see a therapist to learn the difference and settle your own issues that you clearly have.

Good for you, I really mean it TT.

But I hope you can also see from my perspective that There is something about their trope that's a bit unsettling. And even though it was "Just" the embodiment of a child the author "could've" wrote something like her physical appearance maybe somewhat similar to the male lead, right?

I know it's the author's story but they could've wrote something that won't make some readers misunderstood the ML as a father figure, a brother, OR any platonic relationship similar to that of a family, I mean they were a family (she really stated that even before her feelings for him began to develop so she has already considered him as a family but a kind of family that you would would eventually fall for in the end very incest in my opinion. They published it so there's nothing wrong in just stating opinions that their romantic relationship is a bit
