That woman is his mother. Remember when Nora would run away when he was younger? He was fighting a lot with his father. His mother found out where too and probably told his father. Thats probably how his father knew who these kids were.

Oh also yeah so I've been skipping and from the chapters I left off Nora had voiced to his parents about how the prince was getting more attention from his parents than he was and I just read that Nora was also being abused so now I'm confused cause it just seemed like his parents were negligent but not down right abusive pls help
His parents are abusive his father would beat him when he was younger
Thank you I was so confused because they made it sound like he was just a problem child who would run away from home because he was misunderstood or something but they were literally putting their hands on him and locking him up like make it make sense
