In my opinion, best ending for Rose would have been living a tranquil life with Pierre, dying together of old age, THEN going back with Guiness. From this point on they would make amend to each other, flirt again, get married and both ascend to godly beings together. And end up living somewhere in space cause they are magic and don’t need to eat. I knew it wouldn’t happen this way but I hoped for some of it TwT
Gosh, I knew we wouldn’t really get a happy ending, but it really felt unfair. Pierre deserved wayyy better. Poor guy wasn’t helped at all.
And if only she didn’t eat Adelaide, we would have had our happy ending. Like, seriously… after all this constant angst I wish the ending was a bit softer. I feel like I have suffered just to suffer now TwT
The story was greatly written and it was a really interesting ride, but having been reading this for more than 10 years I feel bad
