IIkr right? Like I’m pretty sure it’s unrequited(from jks end) and ppl keeping saying jks redemption arc better be when he’s begging for Dan back. But I honestly can’t see that happening. I don’t think jk loves Dan at all. And even if Dan left him and stood up for himself, it would honestly just hurt jks pride. It would be soooo ooc for jk to put down his ego to even apologise let alone beg.
But he does though? Like… bro gets jealous, threatens anyone who gets close to Dan, gives Dan shit about money but ultimately helps him, lusts after him (Jaekyung wasn’t just sleeping around before, he mainly only did it before a match to win—sex was transactional before Dan), and confides in Dan his weaknesses and concerns.
I dunno… I guess it’s obvious to me because I’m looking for it, but yeah Jaekyung’s like 90% rage, 10% pensive.
Everytime there's misunderstandings or miscommunication in bl mangas, I patiently wait and cheer when the couple is back together. However while reading this story, I never once said 'Just few more chapters and it'll all be okay' because there was not even a single spark between them in these 51 chapters. Like there is no love at all. Joo jaekyung is a selfish centered bastard. And it seemed ridiculous how Dan fell so hard for him even tho jjk never ONCE did something nice for him.
