I think you’re forgetting that she actually wants a child she just chooses the stay in her condition because her husband doesn’t want children. But I get what you’re saying. She respects her husband’s wants and in return she’s denying her own. She’s happy with her life and adores her son, even though he’s not biologically hers. But she’s always wanted her own, and it’s a little sad that’s she’s giving that up if you think from her perspective. I read the whole long ass novel and it’s an amazing story. It’s paints a better picture than the manhwa is currently in my opinion
Actually, kind of did forget she stated wanting one in her previous time line, been a while since reading the earlier chapters. Still, it would be nice to see ONE childless romance couple in stories like this. Not everyone wants kids, and that's ok. Whereas these stories seem to paint that you can't be happy unless you have a kid. Not saying that's what's going to happen here, but damn if it isn't going in that direction HARD right now.
Yea I get that. If you really want a story like that then this isn’t it for you, but I really think this story is worth reading. It’s not a story that paints “you’re only happy when you have a child of your own”. The book has sooo much more detail but it’s more of, even though she disregarded her dream of having a kid of her own, she finds happiness in what she currently has. She’s a very strong character that isn’t afraid of showing how she feels, and I absolutely love this story because of it.
And all of this is making me wanna read the book again!
I never thought of it as an opsey baby, but that might be a good word for it The doctor cured her without her knowing. And because of their VERY active sex life, it happened.
She was very upset at this since she didn’t want to be cured and honestly I was upset at this too since she finally found a balance and was content with her life but with everything I’m glad it ended the way it did. Especially the siblings relationship!
Am I a horrible person for wanting her to remain without a child that is biologically hers? What's so bad about showing them as a happy family with Damien as their son? Why MUST she have a child? And we know she's going to have a child there's ALWAYS a child. I've lost a lot of interest in this story with the current plot direction. Part of the reason I LIKED this whole thing was the idea that she would be childless, as that was a condition of their marriage. A baby does NOT make a person whole/happy.
