That simply doesn't matter. Since we're talking about consent, we need to also acknowledge that consect can be revoked. Even if Lyle said yes that one time, it does nothing since right now, he doesn't consent. Lyle clearly tells him to stop, that he's uncomfortable, that he doesn't like it, and trust me later chapters dont make it any better.

But girl this is an alpha’s rut it’s the same in every omegaverse. Trying to apply real-life logic doesn’t work - like men get pregnant in this world if you don’t like it, just don’t read it. Aint no author supporting noncon (as shown in every other sex scene), this is literally what they do in a rut in every fictional world called an omegaverse and the author just decided to include a part of it. Your response is valid but so is everyone else’s response who understands that this is normal in a omegaverse world.

I could tell that they were setting Ash up to have a “dark side” so to speak, and I had hoped that they would handle this like it was in “all about lust” and have him open up about that side of him (maybe even in a comical way to ease any pressure on Lyle to participate) and let Lyle decide what he wanted to explore with Ash. The stereotype they went with instead is harmful and puts people in real life scenarios like this because their partner has rationalized their own behavior and see themselves as “helping their partner open up to new experiences.”

That all simply doesn't matter either since we're talking about omegaverse here. Regular concept of consent just doesn't apply any longer. I can understand if it was your regular story but this ain't it.
Lyle knew Ash would not and could not stop, it doesn't matter if he says no while he's being pinned down, he already signed up for this the moment he didn't run away when given the chance. He can cry about it but it's not Ash's fault but his own.

Well, the argument of 'that's just how omegaverse is' is really weak since every omegaverse story has their own set of rules. You can not say that I can't talk about consect in omegaverse stories because they dont work by those rules, when there are omegaverse manga's/manhwas that clearly DO.
With that in mind, the author never ones mentioned that those 'ruts' are normal in this world, and the fact that they gave this ultra dangerous rut to Ash, and made Lyle consent to something that he clearly didn't understood at its fullest, still makes the whole scenerio non-con.
Once the person said that they want to stop, or that they are uncomfortable, or when they make a physical attempt to get away, it's not consent.
All those recent sex chapters made me feel so gross and icky. I thought I was going crazy with all those positive comments.
But no, I'm pretty sure what's going on is called non-con. Especially after viewing the raws and seeing that Lyle was unconscious, just, ewww...
