Her neighbor from the slums reported, that she was able to speak before, but after a log time of abuse she got so traumatized that she stopped speaking.
So she only had to overcome her trauma to be able to speak again, and not learn how to speak from the scratch. The butler gave probably some kind of vocal training, because her vocal cords have not been in use for quite some time.
i’m sorry but how could she speak this fast? like in the beginning of the chapter she was learning how to say work and then in the middle of it she can ask questions???
