its most likely bc at the end of the day, this dude is his father. knowing the mc he is a very kindhearted person and doesnt want to cause harm to anyone, no matter how much harm ppl have caused him. like even tho he is a deadbeat father, he is still mcs dad and mc wouldnt feel roght throwing his dad out. at least thats what i feel
