It feels like one of the few manhwas that take the trauma and history of the characters seriously. It genuinely affects the way they think and the actions they take in an interesting way... I don't know, it just feels so unique despite the premise being used in other manhwas. The author just knows how to be compelling.
It's been so long since I read this (I put it on hold so I could wait for new chapters), but reading the latest one gave me whiplash. Like, my god Skylar has grown sooo much. I couldn't imagine him doing anything close to this in the beginning. I remember he and cirrus had issues not just with eachother but within themselves that I thought it would take near the end of the manhwa for them to become close at all. But it's such an interesting dynamic and character progression the author presented, it's made me really look forward to more chapters and work from them.
