100% Agree, but I think he does at some point acknowledge what happened to him as rape. I remember being like "fucking FINALLY" when I read it, but I could be misremembering. I want to give the creator the benefit of the doubt in that sometimes it takes a while for victims to get to the point where they can even categorize their trauma as abuse and/or rape, but it was really heartbreaking watching him walk around believing that he was somehow culpable for what happened between them.
That said, Idgaf if she was using him as a replacement for his dad, that is just an additional layer of scum added to her character. The fact that the creator would even consider redeeming her makes me so fucking mad, even if this is how something like this might actually play out in real life. If I were the dad, I'd be in prison if I found out my partner was sleeping with my kid.

I like the concept actually I love the story but I don’t like how they treated tacihi and his stepmom. Like the stepmom raped him when he was a kid and continued on and they say affair like he consented but he was just a kid. The mom should’ve been told off like takeru was. They trynna down play what she did and its crazy how they have her around him like she isn’t a disgusting abuser.
