For those who are expecting redemption, there won't really be any and here is why: Wooyeon has Alexithymia, a condition where the person affected doesn't understand emotions. He doesn't understand love, regret, guilt, etc. There is a point in the story where he tells Inseop that he just doesn't understand how people "feel" in certain ways, including falling in love. This condition can be so bad that you simply don't get why forcing someone to have sex with your for example is bad, you simply don't understand how the victim is feeling. When he sees someone crying, he doesn't feel bad because he doesn't understand why the person is even sad. There is happy ending only because he slowly becomes able to label his feelings for Inseop as love and that's when only for once he puts Inseop before himself.
the seme with the condition reminds me of the seme in rivalry. idk if you’ve read it but he has the same thing pretty much, don’t know if it was diagnosed or not but he worked through it and that story was really beautifully written
