I don't want to start a fight, but people should really stop getting upset over obviously crappy male leads. Just like some enjoy reading splatter-manwhas, others enjoy manwhas about romanticized dirtbags. Of course, a real-life version of him belongs in jail and the uke should run like hell, but this isn't real life. Every normal person knows the difference, and those who can't and are actually influenced by it need the kind of help that only a Psychologists can give. It's just like the whole gaming leads to violence crap. It's just a messed-up "romance" story that you mainly enjoy for the beautiful artwork, not because the story is super exciting or interesting e.e.
