Yes, but there is a difference between both of them being hammered and deciding to do something together, and one being extremely drunk and the other being just a bit buzzed and deciding to pursue the hammered one. They’re obviously not in the same state of mind.
It’s always so ridiculous to me when a character (in a clear state of mind) sleeps with their love interest who they haven’t even confessed to while they’re drunk (consent wtf) and/or going through a serious emotional/personal crisis (way to take advantage of a vulnerable person), then get offended, shocked, and/or hurt when said love interest has a negative reaction the next day. Wtf did you think was going to happen?! This person was not dating you, there was no confession of affection then or before, and there are various personal/work complications. Mixed feelings, regrets, and anger make far more sense than that person randomly deciding to date you after that
