I'm team Cain, but you can tell how desperate the author tried explain why Cain is important after many Cain readers pointed out how in the end they made him irrelevant. Feels like she's trying to please readers but just couldn't follow through and many are calling bs with her justifications.
Now I see why Cain story was so detailed and added even though it was not needed. He was the planned MC until it was turn into a love triangle. Ig the author wanted to keep that part of the story but it just doesn't work. Should've saved his story for another time.
The 2nd ML should've just been given a simple background, the reincarnation story is definitely something that could've been it's own story.
