how on earth do u think their characters speaking old language in historical setting would be in anyway not important? great writers know how to make their story immersive and that includes every little aspects of the story. there's no rule about shit like that just bc you're too dumb to understand complicated language omg
Well Miss perfect, the writer is korean and not English first of all and before u call others dumb, look urself in the mirror and check the comment once more, did I say that the writers have to write in modern English? It's the rule given by the publishers and editors so that majority of the audience can read it, and finding old English hard to understand is not dumb it's just that iam living in the modern world not a grandma like u, so bye Felicia, better get some education before commenting,
it is modern english though. in both senses.
the language ME started around 1700, earlier if you count early modern english.
it's just written in a way to appear historical, but pretty sure grammar and even vocab wise it's present day english, don't remember a word that is so out of date it hasn't be used for centuries.
also this translation is published so that point is useless to argue about anyway since it's clearly not the case here.
Why are the words so complicated I don't understand anything
