I started reading because it was so popular but I actually liked it a lot. It came off to me as a realistic execution of traumatic children. One got bullied at school because of his sexuality and the other has parental issues and never got loved. Unfortunately both parents and school/friends are all there is to a child’s life and can make their life like a hell ;-; And its not easy to avoid these things and move on.
I’m out of high school for almost 10 years now but I still carry the insecurities I went through in my school life. I hope Skylar, Cirrus and everyone who is reading this can get over their childhood traumas and find the love and support they deserve. Have a nice day
