Chapter 39-40: mc uses the lachets’ (hierophant and star) to learn about the details of paternity test. I understand that they skipped details about that but the description is way too simplified. Also, why exactly did they test it with the emperor? And what made them trust the result so easily when it’s newly created (especially since the kingdom/empire doesn’t really have a good relation with the edifice)?
Yeah, I don't know why they trust the result readily, but judging from the dialogue, it seems the emperor already suspected the consort to lie about the father and they may have discussed behind the scene to test it out.
