That’s my point too. There was all this buildup for when it was going to happen and everyone was waiting on it. Honestly, it’s really disrespectful how the author did this. Because if this is all it took for them to do this it would’ve happened in the first 4 chapters. I’m sending that the author didn’t think we couldn’t recognize a rush job.

why make your debut smut scene this bs, there are literally so many ways to reinforce the characterization of a crazy character without having rape. Not only was the whole smut scene just obviously rushed but it just straight up ruined the whole thing (for me). I just don’t get how we can have stories like Red Mansion do this perfectly well and have unhinged semes without rape and still get THIS…
