They had zero development and Kakei is just an asshole who doesn't respect Shinobu's boundaries. I'd prefer to watch Shinobu's and Naruse's relationship develop it could've worked since Naruse is at least respectful of Shinobu's boundaries and doesn't force him to do anything. Kakei did nothing of that sort just forced himself when he was clearly told to stop. The only good things in this are the artstyle and Naruse.
