I was reading Your Eternal Lies a few days ago, it was so beautiful and I left a comment there writing stuffs. Someone in the replies recommended this to me there. I'm so grateful I came across this, it was equally beautiful and heartbreaking. Haven't come across many historical manhwas with unique storyline, there was only a few.

It was so hurtful to see the siblings grow apart even tho they loved each other just as much due to the circumstances and their aunt. William fell in love with Anna and was unable to let her go and break the engagement. Charlotte was a mere maid in a noble house who was also an aspiring author. Given the social hierarchy back then, their social statuses are very different. But still it was Charlotte that helped them the most. She became Matthew's hands when he couldn't write due to the injury. The letter she wrote which was initiated by Matthew, containing the words that he was too afraid to speak to his only lovable sister Anna, helped them to reconcile before Matthew passed away, leaving them without any regrets. She also helped William think of Anna and their broken engagement in a different light, helped him change for better. She also received help from Matthew and Anna regarding her writing, William read her draft and gave reviews, the maids helped her so much by being by her side and encouraging her. Loved the story development, the heartwarming message.

I would love it more if we got to take a better look at Charlotte's past but I guess we still understood what happened in her past nonetheless. The story was beautiful. So glad I got this recommended and rear this, otherwise I'd miss something as good as this one. It was a wonderful read<3

Edit: When Anna started reading Charlotte's novel to Matthew before he passed away, I started sobbing. I wish he had somehow lived but I guess it was inevitable since the very beginning. RIP Matthew.
