I think the difference is when he bit his bride it was more of a claiming thing than a threatening thing. It only became lethal when he started to feel threatened by Habibi

I was hoping they would finally have little babies and live a happy life together, but coincidentally the author decided it was a good idea to bring Habibi AGAIN as a way to bring drama and destabilize their relationship.
