Your not crazy , I agree with your interpretation , and I would also like to add that i see so many tropes in bl about specific characters and think they're autistic or autistic coded. But due to horrible preception of autism in asia ( speaking as an autistic asian myself) when they idea is bought up . It is often met with backlash by neurotypical bl folks . I would also like to quote the iconic line " he was such a genius that he became autistic" - npc talking about a random seme in a bl i forgotten about (人 •ᴗ•)

I'm really loving the SPOKEN CONSENT AND PROPER COMMUNICATION. It's really sad how that's not a common thing in BL, but this right here should be the standard imo. Toxic yaoi is cool and all but Bl like this should not be as hard to find as it is.
Anyways this is peak, the a charachters feel like people and have believable relationship development, not forced or rushed like alot of popular BL (COUGHCOUCH JINX COUGH COUGH.... omg smthn got caught in my throat mb homies).
