never, i'd say. or at least- never to this level. for this you need a certain level of writing finesse, and even if taeju was shitty in the beginning he was written like that on purpose and he was written well. he was not just a jackass for the sake of being one- it was because he was literally a gangster. it's not just because he's hot dom alpha daddy with more unnecessarily rendered abs than total personality traits (pun not intended), or some half-baked "sad" backstory. it's his job and the environment he grew up in. even then he had more personality and the author established a lot of points to draw off of for his eventual character arc. jinx (what i'm assuming you're taking about, i dropped it after 5 chapters) is simply is not written well. the characters are flat and only fanservice with popular features stacked together. even though the art is detailed, it feels stiff and the expressions here are so much more dynamic and, well, expressive. much better humor as well. and from a film design student perspective with a few storyboarding courses under my belt- the direction is phenomenal, and the panels flow so well, the storyboard artist is truly skilled. exibit-a, in the scene when taeju arrives to the little brother being taken away and they kept the pov inside the car while displacing the character, that was pretty neat..... anyway, sorry for the rambling lol.
Off topic .. I wonder when's jeakyung's turn, bye
