Just a theory but I did get the impression the little brother used to look out for Miyabi in the flashback... Maybe I'm tripping but it gave me the idea that he did the act to knowing the trashy parents will prioritize himself (lil bro) over Miyabi so when the later lead the other with his heat the parents kicked Miyabi out. Idk maybe I'm just imagining it...
To be honest if it wasn't it would still be a blessing in disguise I mean Miyabi would have die from starvation and neglect in thay closet. I'm quite happy he got out that """"""family""""""... Currently hoping the author give the parents a healthy karma slap of common sense.
