This is all the parents fault tho. Bringing a chaotic kid to their work place which is not a kid friendly place, giving praises to other's children (albeit how much Andy deserved it) in front of Derrick as well as calling him friendless now in his adulthood in front of total strangers or his arch nemesis? Mom & dad ain't saint & needs a teaching as well in parenting. How can he maintain a good relationship with his family who insults him like this?

Ok but "you can't expect a neglected child to be a proper adult" hit hard. Many people around me have turned out this way. If you ever feel your childhood or any other period in life is affecting your current life too much don't hesitate to reach out. Help is out there
