istg it's so bizarre and people liking a literal adult with mental age that seems to had regressed to infancy is weirder

rereading it again but i think its more alike to bertia suddenly remembering her "past life" rather than a true transmigration thing happening. so its really a child with the memories of a grown woman iyk what im trying to say

If you're a child and got ALL of the memories from where you lived as an adult your mind will actually grow up. The body is a kid the mind is not. Which makes this all the more fucked up.

At the very least I was just hoping she'd exhibit at least some level of maturity, since she retained memoroes from her adult life. Memories did affected her behaviour but just not in a way I would accept when they're selling a book that have an ADULT on it, one would think all the adult memories would've affected her cognitive development, like an acceleration on maturation like the plot some authors did on (the marriage is bound to fail or smth)

I definitely think you’ve read way too many transmigrated/reincarnation stories and just assume that she’s like that in this story when it’s been shown many times it’s not the same. She is not a grown woman and never had the mindset of a grown woman. The entirety of the story takes place from childhood to high school age.

What you fail to realize is that she got memories of her past life. She doesn’t consider herself as her past self. She lives in the current world and believes she is how she grew up in this world. She treats those memories like they’re a strangers, like they’re an entirely different person from herself. This is not the first time this type of plot has happened. An example includes someone in a modern setting anime saying they remember their past life in ancient times.

Anyways I think you’ve just read way too many transmigration stories where the FL’s entire personality is REPLACED once she remembers. This was NEVER the case in this manga. It’s been shown MANY times that was never the case. You assume that once you gain memories of another life, you automatically merge or something. That isn’t how it happens here. Don’t take whatever you learn from other stories and assume that has to be the case for every story.

You’re absolutely right! The story has clearly shown that was the case the entire time. The other person just doesn’t accept that because they took whatever logic from other transmigrations stories and wants to assume it’s applied here when it never was
