I like the mother, she thought her son was just being pushed around (probably projecting) and that's why she called him. Even though her flaws she feels human and I can appreciate that

I had a feeling his mom wasn't that bad a person.
Being extremely stressed and raising a kid w/o much, if any support, is soul crushing at times.
So I can empathise with her, even though I don't agree entirely with her communication abilities.
She's very human, just as human as her son. Both of them just need someone in their corner, he found his and I hope she finds hers.
