The romance is rushed, and they don't need to write bout romance if they can't do it all. and we don't even know what FL personality is like deeply; we just know she blushes when she's with him, and allat. 1. It's borderline immoral w him being an old man on the inside
2. The normally cool Arthur loses his shit whenever Tess is involved
3. Tess is honestly a terribly written character, even worse that she's the female lead
4. Frankly speaking, she's not doing anything for Arthur, as in didn't make him a better person or anything, actually she made him worse (according to spoilers I found)
5. The whole point of the romance is literally Art saving Tess multiple times and her blushing
