He left a battlefield to come and continue fighting on someone's say so. Barely see him with the family so what's the point.

because when he's with his family it's the same routine while if he's outside he's sent to different missions and all of that to push the plot.

i mean, it doesn't rlly have to be the same routine, it can easily be a slice of life type of story if they want to focus on him with his family

Exactly that's the point even thought he scaped that place theres still danger in the his normal everyday life something he cannot ignore since he has the abilities to protect/help people that's how he protected his sister if he didn't involve he would not be here or work for SW think a little lol

+ the numbers followed him with killing intentions is a world he cannot escape from and many other people still want revenge on him

the annoyance for me personally is when the family is clearly mentioned and shown as something very very important to the kid, but his family barely have any screen time and that's just frustrating tbh considering how deep in the story we already are

like thinking of the perspective of a reader, they need to care about the grandpa and the sister as much as ijin care about them so that when something happen to them, the reader will actually feel the urgency and emotionally invested in it. atp, i personally don't feel anything for the mc family and that's bad imo

i don't mind the action and the stuff that going on but i don't feel like it is balanced in this story, the reason why the action happened and why it need to happen isn't emphasized enough. there's too much action that it make some readers feel lost on why the action is happening

but this isn't about his family tho? It is in the title. This is an action manhwa. You're expecting a slice of life trope on an obviously story that is about him just beating the shit out of people who under-estimate him. It's like complaining why you're not getting froyos in an ice cream shop. You know from the get go with the tags and how the manhwa started.

when did i say im expecting a slice of life story?? you say "oh but if it focused on his family it's going to be the same routine" which is why i refuted with it doesn't have to be that way as slice of life story easily show that isn't the case. and this is an action manhwa sure but this manhwa in particular isn't rlly doing a good job on balancing it and atp it just feel like a mindless and aimless action manhwa to some readers.

take eleceed for example, that manhwa doesn't rlly have a clear goal either and it is an action manhwa but the action is pretty well balanced imo so ppl don't get tired of the action because there's enough and well placed buffer between the action
