On one hand cats are probably going to be the saviors of their world instead and MAN wouldn't that be so freaking COOL!!! On the other hand I am a cat mom myself and seeing cats being pushed to extinction is absolutely heart breaking to me. Im legit in tears about it while reading this because I could never IMAGINE a world without cats. Also they tried doing that during the plague in the real world historically and it MASSIVELY BACK FIRED because of it. So idk if they'll bring up something like that in series but if they do I'm just gonna be like "YEAH! PROBABLY SHOULDNT HAVE KILLED ALMOST ALL OF THEM HUH???" If you don't know WHY cats were important during the Bubonic plague, look it up. It's actually CRAZY that this idea was once heard of as being SMART.(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
