Healthy? They are far from being healthy. At the beginning of their “dating era” maybe, they were super fluffy and sweet, but now ? All I can see is miscommunication and things being solved through sex (⊙…⊙ ) Can’t believe I would say this, but I liked them more during their “sex buddies” era more. Ash seemed more compassionate and loving back then, than he is now ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Miscommunication can happen in healthy relationships too! That’s just being human. I don’t think they are trying to solve any issues thru sex. Ash went into rut and Lyle walked in on that. Ash has asked him multiple times if he’s ok with being there and continuing. Just two consenting adults going at it from what I’m seeing.
Actually, miscommunication occurred when Carlyle was sent home for a couple of days, clueless about Ash's rut. Moreover, Carlyle's tendency to bottle things up rather than discussing them openly with Ash, especially when they were looking through houses, further underscored the communication issues. I'm not suggesting your perspective is incorrect, nor am I trying to impose mine on you. However, I would hesitate to describe their relationship as healthy. Just because they don't engage in some weird kinks or cheat on each other doesn't necessarily mean their relationship is healthy. The dynamic between them lately seems to revolve around either drama and tension due to miscommunication or their sexual relationship.
Plus using Ash's rut as an argument doesn't seem appropriate either. Given Carlyle's anxiety and tendency to overthink, being told to leave during Ash's rut would likely lead him to imagine all sorts of scenarios, including Ash dealing with his rut with someone else. This concern likely influenced his decision to stay ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
I'm actually so happy that when Lyle was saying he just needed a moment to breathe ash stopped for a little bit even when he's feverishly going through his rut.... of course he had ulterior motives with the ribbon and what not but HE LISTENS TO LYLE oh my god I love them they are so healthy and loving.
