Oh so basically the placeholder is for later they will upload the chapter?? Thats why the prev chapter shown as already read coz we arld click the chapter before sigh.. yea its kinda annoying. Dont think the placeholder is necessary
Some uploaders put placeholders so that bots don’t upload shit translations over them. Some people might find it annoying but it helps to keep the chapters straight so that there isn’t a shit translation and then a good translation for every chapter. The uploaded can take down their previous placeholder but can’t take down another uploaders translation. If you can’t remember what chapter you’re on, you can always bookmark them :)
I never said not to post placeholder, just change the settings of the upload itself and not put it under the label " most recent chapter" she can also change back to it when she posts the actual translation later
Girl I know the importance of placeholder chapters but can u please not post them as ," the most recent chapter " ? It makes me lose my progress smh and leaves the actual new chap as "read"
