When they first met he saved her, took her to dinner, she got drunk by herself, he wanted to drive her home but she was knocked out, he slept on the couch. He didn't even do it the first time when he found out she was a virgin. They didn't do it until after a week later. The first time they did it, nothing was supposed to happen yet, but she told him she wanted to do it. So they did it.
