Isn’t that scene from the future ? Tbh I’m confused ab the timeline but I saw somewhere that these chapters now are memories from school days when they were younger. But it’s been a super long time for this story anyway that I kinda disregard the early chapters in their relevance now idk
idk how to tell you this but the author can do what she thinks is right and do what she wants i personally believe their story is gonna be a long and emotional one and are just waiting for the past timeline to move onto college or even after that, coz i think thats the time when their actual lives are gonna change. he tian and mo's development are mostly in hs so thats why they have more moments thats what i think anyway hence why we should be patient coz we knowwww its coming
I’m pretty sure that the author was threatened (if not outright) by the government about their comic centering around gay characters? Since they live in China, censorship is very VERY prevalent when it comes to same-sex couples in media! At least, that’s from my understanding. Their Story (the webcomic) was also threatened, that’s why latest chapters have been more of a day in the life of the main characters than being a full on dialogue comic about all the characters like it’s earlier chapters.
As people have said, the author can create whatever they want to with their story or characters. I, for one, absolutely adore the “main” (in quotes because they all are main characters, in my opinion) couple! Hell, I read this when it first came out as a one shot and the story revolved around them! That was years ago, but this comic STILL has me in a chokehold till this day no matter the priority of characters changing! So it is what it is at the end of the day :)
I started reading this for the main couple, and their lacking so much plot now. What happen when blondie cried because he kissed xixi?? Like no way they just went back to normal and now their all flowers and chocolates
