Nope, he was totaly serious. It's not that he is the player that everyone think he is, but he attracted to Yuder and want to be close to him (and obiously doesn't have a problem by doing it with a man). Even by reading the novel, it's hard to tell if there was a romantic attraction or if it was just physical by this time. But, hey, isn't what love is ? Beside, it's obvious that Kishiar is interested in Yuder as a solider AND a person. Since the beginning he likes how calm and observant he is and is attentive to his remarks.
