omg fr. as an artist trying to survive in the animation industry these toxic expectations are what makes artists depressed, overworked and burnt out. I'm truly amazed how so many artists can keep going with the weekly schedule.

yeah i can't imagine it either. i'm a much slower artist and i don't draw as often as many others, yet i still get hand and wrist injuries every coupleof years even when i'm being careful. i can't imagine how much worse it would be drawing every day, all day, 7 days a week.
but hopefully if more artists share their experience, readers will be more understanding and give artists more time.
as an artist seeing this comment section is depressing. the comics industry is genuinely such a difficult industry to work in. especially for artists that have to keep up with weekly releases. most artists work all day, 7 days a week trying to keep up. artists are so overworked that they frequently develop serious health issues. not to mention the importance of taking breaks to try to prevent things like carpal tunnel.
please try to be more understanding.
