Idk about you but there’s obviously some trauma going on with the mc. He’s not stupid NOR is he kind, he is traumatized. Him saying yes was a clear instinct response, or am I missing something here?
Okay thinking about it more maybe it wasn’t a trauma response More like being too nice and having an attachment to his father. Sure it’s a dumb throng to do I guess, but I wouldn’t shame the guy for it
He's not kind, he's stupid. If he was still a teen or a child I could understand but he spend years of his life working non stop, that man deserve a beat down in front of everybody.
