Let me melt it even more. In the novel, around the time they take the whales back to explore the forest of darkness, Raon sits down next to Cale and then the text states that he rests his head on Cale's knee "like it belongs there" And most time when Cale is sitting down and Raon is visible, he will rest his head on his knees!!!

It's quite interesting to see an MC that looks so much like a villain, with that bright red hair and sharp eyes, but still quite pretty. But most of all, I freaking love the 3 children, they are so freaking cute! Especially Raon. Did you notice how at first, even though Raon would follow Cale, he did it from a distance? And then even when Raon started following Cale more closely, he would just fly next to Cale and rarely even touch Cale, but from some time ago Raon started to hang on Cale's shoulder instead of flying next to him and he even hugs Cale a lot. My heart freaking melts every time I see that.
