No sweetie, I wanted to see a training arc when she was back in her home country. The problem is some people don't think she's trained, but maybe with an arc or backstory, there won't be a "hole" in that plot for those people and then maybe they could see that it has nothing to do with her training and that maybe its bc she doesnt have the help she needs.
And it has nothing to do with the knights either. Something else too: some people think shes OP, but she's NOT OP. She just has more experience and training, and is a lot stronger than these Mages. The Duke said something that was a big KEY. "We do things a certain way." And that certain way is of course getting the knights killed and building up the Mages like they are really doing something, when all they're doing is letting the knights do the hard work and they swoop in towards the end. That's why she told him to stop doing things their way and get the fuck out there and FIGHT. She's doing all the work, while the knights are doing their part. She can't help but faint bc she's using her full strength all at once to stop the tower, kill the beasts, and to eliminate casualties.
The Duke and the Emperor are the reason for all this. The Duke wants to become the strongest Mage and the Emperor wants to control the people using the towers. And the ones who are suffering are the citizens, the Knights, and the MC.
I guess maybe I should have put all of this in my original post, but I had already just posted a long rant on another webtoon/manhwa before that so I was freaking tired. I was trying to hurry up and say what I needed to say before running out of wind.
Oh ok, sweatie. I disagree with the training arc though. If people can't understand the reason she's fainting is because she's pushing past her limits, they might think the training arc is in the present. People with the reading comprehension of a frozen tomato won't understand even if you purposely put the reasons in a banner at the beginning of each chapter.
That's why I was hoping maybe that arc would suffice or something explaining things more. I just hate that she's being made fun of when what's happening is like.....RIGHT THERE DRAWN ON THE PAGE. Its....its right there. You know? We are reading and seeing the same thing, but some people dont get it. Which...I mean is okay, I guess. I'm not the smartest and there's stuff I dont get, but....do you get what Im saying?? Siiiighs.
I get it. There are quite a few frustrations with this. One I wanna talk about is her power. People are talking about her fainting every time she uses her power. I agree, there should be a training arc, but she should've gotten said training when she was growing up in her country.
Plus, the Mages are literally there for nothing. For show. "We work in the shadows." Duke Desponne and Lennox are so useless for no f*cking reason that it's pathetic. So, I understand why she keeps fainting. Bc she's literally doing the work of the knights AND the Mages bc the Mages are usless....because of the Duke and Lennox. I hope they hurry up and die. Like a lot.
Then, I want that blonde, whiney, WL to just rot away, right along with the Emperor. I'm...I'm getting kind of tired with this story, but I dont wanna give up on it just yet. I'll just do what I do for Remarried Empress and let the chapters build up a little so that I can read a couple at a time.
But tbh....I'm thiiiiiis close to reading the novel for Remarried Empress and just be done with it. Does this one have a novel? Usually, when I read a novel, I still wanna read the webtoon to "see" the characters being "played out", but for these....I don't think I'll read these after reading the novel...or novels.
