Sorry, it’s my bad for not being clear about it. Lloyd is the real ML of the completed story. The epilogues/extra chapters function as “what if” situations, similar to alternate routes in a dating sim, in which different timelines are depicted. Basically, in each extra chapter, the author gives us the chance to see what would happen if FL had not fallen in love with Lloyd and instead one of the second male leads, as well as what the ending would have been like had FL chosen a reverse-harem. Lloyd is still present in all of the extra chapters but he’s not the love interest because it’s like a different timeline, again, like a dating sim. I simply thought it was nice that the author to provide us with this kind of fan-service(?). I hope this makes sense!!

I know it’s been spoiled that Lloyd is the main story end game, but I did read the epilogues and I thought I’d give some more info, in case anyone was interested—the author clearly understands the struggle of second-male-lead syndrome. They’re quite lengthy too. Reinhausd’s is expectedly very kinky, the most physical, and progresses the farthest (which makes sense given the context of their relationship). Kyle’s has a lot of content involving other characters and he has to get over his mother-related problems with loving others. Diego’s is a little spicier but involves a lot of demon politics and shenanigans plus underworld dealings (the 780+ year age gap is mentioned very explicitly, though she’s chill with it). THE FINAL EPILOGUE IS A FULL HAREM ENDING, for those who want it all.
