lol you can't even escape from it in BL now. omegaverse is just an excuse for shitty writers to write what is really just shoujo, but with the female MC just happening to have a small penis and short hair. there's really no other difference than that in these alpha x omega stories, which is why i avoid them like plague most of the time and stick to alpha x alpha or even better: alpha x beta. heteros will corrupt everything.
I really wanted to say the same thing ---- like the omegaverse in which omegas are considered very down market or something is nothing but the comparison to the 18-19th century women who cannot live without their husbands....but I live the babies .so points added to omegaverse from my side

before omegaverse became this popular, "mpreg" was the solution to wanting to see biological baby between two cis male characters! i remember on wattpad, fanfiction dot net (i think it's fictionpress now?), livejournal etc you would see the "mpreg" tag and it mean that the two cis men would have a baby between them. it was really funny because the authors would be like "yeah guys mpreg is normal in this world and yea he pushed a baby out of his butt... pls don't ask me the logistics of it thx" and you'd just be like yeah okay, that makes sense. i kinda miss that now tbh. cause now you have to slog through "he dominated his omega with his ALPHA pheromones" "the omegas thighs were drenched from his slick" etc before you actually get to a cute little baby. and even then their interaction with their own babies is very minimal. i wanna see them actually talk and all that with their baby!! (for example i was kinda upset about the time skip in Blood Link after Hwa was born)

Exactly,there was this pregnant at boys school I read as my first bl manga.since I read so many shounen ai and I had developed my interest for bl recently at that time,I thought It will be like a girl disguised as a boy and then suddenly a guy found out her secret and made her pregnant or something..
But that wasn't the case.it was a real bl.i was intrigued by this new concept of mpreg but learning how the ml forced himself on the prean mc .I was frightened.i pretty much liked the concept but the delivery of that was the worst.i couldn't even see the baby give the title.
But later so many omegaverse came with same concept- loan sharks,abusive parents,dominant alpha,forced mating and so on.........there are so many less manga with actual green omegaverse ,it's all toxic and toxic .they don't even let us see the family time after so called redemption.(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
And ykw as a medical student I kind of wanted to understand the anatomy of the male omega...I really tried to make a suitable internal structure of their body in my dreams with the prostate,uterus,anus and dic....hahahah

nah, i totally get what the tl was saying. there's this weird trope in shoujo manhwas (and now in omegaverse) where the "son" character will be very protective of his mother (in this case, the mother stand-in omega dad), and will cutely proclaim he'll keep the mother safe from the ML. the son character will also be deceptively smart and will be a wolf in sheep's clothing: he'll pretend to be cute to his mom, but will be a cruel ruthless kid to everyone else. the mom will be tricked by the literal child character into thinking he's her little innocent baby. anyway, once you notice it, you realise this trope is EVERYWHERE. it's so creepy to me. it's giving Oedipus ¯_(ツ)_/¯
