So it will be satisfying and sad and we will feel just as broke, with the end of all of them, but also know they were set up for that sinse they were born
i mean there are other ways to make it satisfying and sad without adding random rape scenes
they add literally nothing to the plot in any way

If it was consensual sex the story wouldn't make sense...to begin with the most interesting part of this story is the emotion they show in sex...in a vulnerable moment....the little empathy, and how they are so far gone, the story of life of the characters and their psyche is clearly shown in that scenes exacly because they are feeling in power, and vulnerable at the same moment cuz of guiding for it to make sense it being consensual, a lot of the plot would have to change, since the only reason they feel something for mc is exactly because he is clearly as miserable as them and definitely is forced to be there
To begin with the author would have to make these child experiment raised as a weapon who never new love characters act and cope like a perfect health person...but to show how traumatized they are it will have some scenes of him showing reaction to something that remembers his past....cuz of course a life long experience has the same symptoms as a traumatic event, sure (just that already demonstrated to me the author doesn't know what he is doing...like a lot of other comic)
BUUUT if you only likes the world of guideverse there is a lot of stories who are health and cute, the whole purpose of this one is show "human"monsters, what it would do to a person have that much power since a young age, it's the main topic here, there is a lot of contrast to with the ones who were born in that environment (blond 1 and 2) and the ones who know what was like to be human (gloves guy and beast guy) they are the most liked exactly because they shown regret, empathy, pain, they try to but they are not humans anymore
I love this story exacly the way it is, because it is very well written, and is aways showing new perspectives, the characters are not static, and there is always something knew to see about them, this word and their dynamic
But obviously I know why people wouldn't like it for the rape and violence....but one thing is it not being your cup of tea....but you don't go to a horror movie and complain that there is too much killing scenes...when the whole point is the tension of the killing scenes....I think people are too used to the type of stories who put rape/sex scenes for no reason and think every story would make perfect sense without them (to me I think the manhwa lost a lot of the plot bc they didn't put other rape/sex scenes....cuz that's practically the only time the characters would have to interact and show what they feel....artist is already trying to do what people are asking...what is a shame as she is a fan of the original work and is doing a amazing job to pass out the emotion of the characters without narration)
no sorry but this story would not change at all if it didn’t have all the gratuitous rape. the novel isn’t even this bad so that’s proof enough. they are adding nothing but meaningless fetish porn.
there is not much more emotion shown in these scenes compared the most other regular bl sex scenes. they are portrayed just as sexually as other porn bls and not at all terrifying or heartbreaking like they should be. as for the horror movie comparison…i didnt sign up for a rape story, and that’s almost all we’ve gotten. the rapists are all the same one dimensional crazy rapist asshole with slight differences. and i’ve personally never said i’m against rape portrayed in stories. but it’s not done well at all here.
and the mc can be just as miserable without being raped every other chapter and not every mentally ill character needs to be a rapist. but it seems to be the “reason” excuse used for that entire group of men. how is that not one dimensional and poorly written.
Ok if you think that...each person interprets a story differently, but I don't know what you all expected from the main go mc was forced to be there, the characters where all introduced as freaks who hate guides and already killed tons of them and monters who see humans as ants, but of course you expected them to be normal with MC, and change for him, sure sure, rape is diferent
nobody said they expected them to be normal. rape is not the only bad way they can treat the mc.
forget it, maybe they're just a rape apologist, their long ass paragraphs just to make us believe that rape is relevant to continue this story, or any story for that matter, makes them look just that even though they'd deny it ┐( ˘_˘)┌
everytime i think the plot's getting somewhere the author goes "BAM! SURPRISE! HERE'S 12 CHAPTERS OF YUGEON GETTING RAPED!" like bffr there's no REASON to put them in there! THERE IS NO REASON!!!!
