Instead of praying for him to change, isn't there already someone who actually loves her? The other prince's uncle, the red head used to hate her because he thought she was getting close to his nephew only to use him (he wasn't wrong) but after interacting with her (the current changed her) he realizes that he might've been wrong about her and she's actually good to his nephew and he's fallen in love with her, although I think he's having a hard time admitting it, since he used to hate her. The thing he hates the most is people who put interests before people (that's why he hates his parents, who married off his sister to a tyrant in order to gain power, resulting in his sister's tragic death). Meaning he's fiercely loyal to the people he loves and to the people who are good to him and good to the people he loves. I think that's a pretty good ML candidate right there

Honestly you’re right, I just don’t know he seems much more like a friend to her to me. Like if he does end up being the ML I’ll be happy either way but their connection feels friendly. Hopefully another ML candidate comes along (づ￣ ³￣)づ

It might be because they don't interact much and she doesn't really know him well unlike the knight, because the redhead died pretty early on without them interacting much in her last life and now they don't have many opportunities to interact much either, whereas when it comes to the knight, they have to interact a lot because the emperor sends him with her to keep an eye on her and she knows exactly what to expect. Also probably because love and romance aren't in her mind whatsoever because of what happened with the emperor. So she only treats them as friends, but with her son getting so attached to the knight and them 3 being together, it makes them seem like a family.
