She is trying to get him to love her without ever giving him any love. Spoiling someone does not equates love and even she knows that.
She is ironically very ignorant when it comes to romance, without the game telling her the course of action she is incapable of developing the targets romantic interests in her. So she uses her knowledge of the game to try and tip things in her favor but would have failed with any target because she doesn't understand how to build a relationship.
Or maybe she set herself to failure by thinking of them as game characters with predefined reactions to limited input. Forgetting to see it as real life relationships. She should have used the game windows regularly to see the canon choices of the game to course correct if she wanted to keep it like a game ╮(￣▽￣)╭

It's no wonder he became crazy.
I am sure he thought he could win her this way because of all the times he accepted her twisted treatment.
I mean, she is just trying to survive, and in the perspective of, “this is just a game,” but she should have treated them, especially the one she was hoping to win with, as human.
