couldn't agree more. there was so much potential to expand on all the actually interesting parts, but instead we get 80% rape and violence that don't even contribute to the plot or take it anywhere. And no character development in sight whatsoever
This feels like 2 stories being written at once. 1 is interesting and the other is soooo boring and annoying
. The guiding and sex is the worst writing of all time. It has no depth, reason or direction. It's just assult for the sake of it. It doesn't progress the story at all. Iy doesnt develope the characters either. Meanwhile the monster part?! That's freaking interesting, I want to learn more about it, I want to see the fighting, where did the gates come from etc. Every time we get started on the monster story, we cut to the boring sex, with boring characters - all of them, including the MC. The blonde guys back story seems interesting though, I'd like to have just focused on him and his past, he reminds me of Homelander, a super bred in captivity. But no, we get back to back cahapters of boring sex!!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
